How to use the Xbox 360 controller driver on OS X Yosemite submitted 4 years ago by Libertyphile Many users have been having issues using the Tattiebogle Xbox 360 controller driver on OS X 10.10 Yosemite.
I am using Windows 10 and I have been using my Xbox 360 Wired controller for some time now. I've been playing a game called Rocket League and in the middle of the match my controller stopped working.
I plugged it back in to see if it would fix it, but it keeps telling me the controller is malfunctioning. I got a new controller and tried to use it, but it still tells me that the controller is malfunctioning and that it does not recognize. I even tied plugging it into my xbox360 to see if it would work and it did. Somethings not right.
I've also noticed that the Microsoft Edge internet browser has been going very slow too. Can someone help me please? Open Device Manager. (Right Click the start menu button and Click 'Device Manager') When Device Manager is open, open the 'View' menu, and tick the option 'Show hidden devices' Look through the devices under 'Game Controller' (or similar), 'Universal Serial Bus controllers', and 'Human Interface Devices'. Right click and delete each option which is related to your XBOX controller.
If the checkbox to delete drivers is available, tick this check box. This will clean out the configuration and driver caches. Plug in your controller and report back with the situation. I even tried loading the Windows 360 CD and it said it could not find any drivers for this device. I know it's working fine for some, but I've had no success.

End of story, and do a search, lots of others like me. I did the suggested fix, it failed. Spent 3 hours with XBox CSR day before yesterday, she tried everything. We installed the software again. This computer I just got has some keyboard issues, they are sending me out another one.
I've requested it had Microsoft 10 preinstalled, whether they do that or not I don't know.
First of all, I must make clear that this tutorial is made only for me and I've only tested on windows systems (including Windows 8 and 8.1). I'm sorry for MAC users. Anyway I invite MAC users to share their experiences and alternative solutions JoyToKey is an application that lets you emulate keyboard keys computer in any button on the USB Control (Includes those with Dualshock functionality).

The first thing to do is download the application JoyToKey: VirusTotal Scan: Place the file in a specific folder, for example: C: JoyToKey Unzip the file using WinRar, Official Site to Download WinRar: Example of how to do it. Finally, it should leave the program open and then open the game Maplestory. Thus the program will recognize the new open application (MapleRoyals.exe), and be able to play with your analog Control. For example, pressing RT and LT to make the face button use different moves. I've finally figured out how to get this to work. You'll need to go to Settings, Preferences, and at the top, you will see the following options Make sure that Highlight pressed buttons for all tabs is ticked. This wasn't very clear to me at first, but its necessary. Next, to set up a modifier button, you select which button you want to make your modifier key, edit it, and go to 'Special' Make sure to change the drop down box to 'Joystick 2' Once that's done, press 'OK' and Fill in whatever different layout you had in mind when you have that button pressed into the Joystick 2 tab.
